If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. This page explains how.
1. What this page is for
Some US state privacy laws, such as California's, give residents the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. This page explains how MAVISION TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL - FZCO ("MAvision Affiliates", "we", "us" or "our") handles that right. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
2. Our approach
We do not sell personal information for money. However, affiliate marketing involves passing limited tracking data between companies, and some laws treat that as "sharing" or as a "sale" even when no money is paid for the data. We want you to be able to opt out.
3. What may be shared and with whom
Categories. Identifiers such as IP address and click ID, internet activity such as the clicks and the referring page, device and browser information, and approximate location from the IP address.
Who receives it. Advertisers and the affiliate networks that run their programs, so that conversions can be matched, validated and paid.
Why. To credit the right publisher, to check for invalid or duplicate activity, and to pay commission.
We do not use this data to build advertising profiles of individual visitors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
4. How to opt out
Cookie banner. Choose "Reject non-essential" or turn off optional cookies in "Cookie settings".
By email. Write to support@mavisionaffiliates.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share". Include your name and the email address or other details we need to find your information. You do not need an account.
Browser signal. Where the law requires it, we treat an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control as a valid request.
An agent. You may use an authorised agent to make a request for you. We may ask for proof of their authority.
5. What happens after you opt out
We act on your request as soon as possible and no later than 15 business days after we receive it. We do not need to stop processing data that is necessary to run and secure the network, pay commission, prevent fraud and meet our legal duties, where the law allows this.
6. Publishers and advertisers
If you have an account, we share your business contact details and relevant account information with advertisers and Source Networks as needed to approve you and run offers. That is part of the service you ask for. You can still contact us about it at any time.
7. Your other rights
You may also have the right to know what personal information we hold, to ask us to delete or correct it, and to be treated fairly if you use your rights. See the Privacy Policy for how to make these requests. We will not treat you worse because you exercise a privacy right.
