How commissions are approved and reversed

Commission moves through a few clear stages. Knowing them helps you read your reports and plan when the money reaches you.

The path of a commission

1

A visitor clicks your link and later completes the action the offer pays for.

2

The conversion is recorded as Pending. It waits for validation.

3

The advertiser, and where relevant the source network, validates it. Validation time differs from one advertiser to another.

4

The conversion becomes Approved. It is payable once we have received the funds from the advertiser or its network.

5

You request a payout. After we process it, the commission shows as Paid.

We pay publishers only after both things have happened: the commission is approved and we have received the funds. We do not pay commission from our own funds before we receive it.

When commission is reversed

The order is cancelled, returned or refunded, or a chargeback is made.

The conversion is invalid, duplicated, or breaks the offer rules or the Program Policies.

The advertiser or the source network reverses or refuses to pay the conversion.

We find fraud or invalid activity.

If commission is reversed after we paid it, we may take the amount from your future payouts or ask you to repay it.

Holds

We may hold a payment while we check for fraud or invalid traffic, finish verification, deal with a dispute, wait for funds from an advertiser or meet a legal duty. Where the law allows, we tell you the reason.

If an amount looks wrong

Write to support@mavisionaffiliates.com as soon as you notice, and send your evidence, for example the date, the offer and the sub-ID. We review it. Our records are the basis for payment unless there is a clear error.
